Lokanayakudu Kamal Haasan has always worked towards coming up with something interesting and historic in his movies. But his ambitious attempt to portray a historic character through the film ‘Marudanayagam’ failed to materialize. But Kamal has not given up and now he has come up with another project.

Reports reveal Kamal has decided to do the biopic of the famous ruler of Mysore Tipu Sultan. Legends reveal how the sword of Tipu Sultan was the most feared among his enemies especially the British. The ground work has begun and an official announcement is expected soon.
