Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, directed by Shankar Shanmugam, is currently in production and is scheduled for release later this year. Meanwhile, the versatile actor has a biggie titled Thug Life under the direction of renowned filmmaker Maniratnam.

The first schedule of Thug Life begins today in Chennai. The shoot kickstarts on a promising note. Kamal Haasan and other cast members will be participating in this schedule.

Confirmed cast members for this significant project include Trisha Krishnan, Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik and Joju George. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananthi under the banners of Raaj Kamal International Films and Madras Talkies.

Udhayanidhi Stalin serves as the movie’s presenter, and the acclaimed AR Rahman is handling the music composition.
