The advance booking of one of the most anticipated films KGF: Chapter 2 has opened on a high note, although only in a few locations on Thursday at noon. The film, which had Yash and Sanjay Dutt in main roles, quickly began to play to packed houses across the country.

The pre-booking for KGF Chapter 2 began in Hindi belts. The audience's excitement is certainly being converted into numbers, since the Hindi version alone created extraordinary figures. According to Pinkvilla, KGF 2 has sold approximately 1.07 lakh tickets in just 12 hours. The estimated sale price is 3.35 crores. Isn't that enormous?

RRR made an overall advance of Rs 5.08 crore, and KGF 2 has already made an advance of Rs 3.35 crore with week left till its release. RRR data was collected on 3788 shows, whereas KGF 2 bookings have only recently started on 1839 shows. 

However, with a week left, it could see a rise, giving RRR strong competition.
