Jump Jilani Movie Review, Jump Jilani Review, Allari Naresh Jump Jilani Movie Review, Allari Naresh

Story :

Jump Jilani revolves around the life of two brothers (Allari Naresh in dual role) who share different characters and different point of views in life. The elder one, Satti Babu is an honest man with an ambition to safeguard and develop his ancestral restaurant. The younger one, Ram Babu is a thief who only cares about making money. The duo join hands for a single cause and fight for it. Too many twists and turns occur in between, complicating the story to a lengthy extent. The duo even fall in love in this process. The elder one romances Isha Chawla, a health officer and Ram Babu falls in love with his own cousin, Swathi Deekshit (a college student). A lot of drama, comedy and action takes place throughout the film. Did the brothers manage to save their hotel ? Did they win their love journey ? Are their goals achieved ? forms the rest of the story.

Analysis :

Jump Jilani is a typical Allari Naresh movie which has comedy as the vital tool. There is no scarcity of comedy throughout the film. The rest of the plot is quite predictable and has nothing new to cherish. Except for a dual role, Naresh's character has no changes when compared to other films.

Perspective :

Performances :

Allari Naresh is a man who can make people smile with mere presence on screen. Along with him, characters like Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh, Posani Murali Krishna, M S Narayana, Raghu Babu, Tagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj and so on have added life to the script with comedy essence. Isha Chawla had a good scope for performance but Swathi Deekshith was only a glam doll who beautified the screen space.

Technical Aspects :

Direction :

Satti Babu did create a neat film but he could have made it more unique instead of mixing up a lot of known concepts in it. The Rayalaseema set up and robbery scenes were quite familiar of course. Comedy was at it's edge and too many artists contributed in this matter.

Music :

Vijay Ebenazer did not do a great job as a musician. None of the songs had magic. In fact, remembering a song after walking out of the theater itself is a tough task.

Cinematography :

Cinematography  by Dasarathi Sivendra was good and flawless. Locations and actors were shown in perfection but there was nothing extra ordinary for sure.

Plus Points :

1. Comedy is a major plus for the film
2. Naresh did a great job in the dual role

Minus Points :

1. A very common plot that makes it boring
2. First half is too lethargic and lengthy.
3. Other movie spoofs could have been avoided for comedy as it is something we had been watching in every Comedy film.

Bottom Line :

Jump Jilani is good for a one time watch if comedy is the only thing you are looking for. A typical movie buff will find nothing new in the script except for Naresh is a dual role.

Rating : 2.5/5
