Almost all the critics have reacted similarly. What has "Akhil" done to Akhil Akkineni? If that's the question, then the answer is simple. 

The whole of "Akhil" turned a damp squib with pathetic content that created an interest never. Except for those hard hitting dance moves of Akhil, there is nothing anyone could feel better and positive about the film. In almost all the songs, Akhil tried to prove his dances and he proved it. However, he has to improvise in terms of expressions, because most of his dances are lacking that 'feel' on his face, though there is josh in his moves. Also Akhil needs to time his rhythm and grace rather shaking the dance floor all the time. 

Both Akhil and his choreographers have done a good job, while VV Vinayak has disappointed both "Akhil" and Akhil and Akkineni fans.
