Keerthy Suresh came to Hyderabad to promote her upcoming film, Revolver Rita. The actress interacted with media and during the session, one of them asked about her support to Vijay as better dancer than Chiranjeevi. Keerthy stated that she saw Vijay from a very young age and got more fascinated by him and she is a big fan. 

Hence, she stated that while she respects Chiranjeevi, her personal choice as best dancer will always be Vijay. She further said, "I and Chiranjeevi garu did speak about such choices about who is my favourite dancer, my favourite scenes and things like that. Chiru sir took everything in a sporty manner." 

Insisting that she did not want to hurt his fans or the star, Keerthy stated that she just wanted to give her honest opinion about her choice in a personal interaction. She further stated that she conveyed the same to Chiranjeevi and he never asked for any explanation. 

She concluded by saying, "I apologise to Megastar Chiranjeevi fans if they got hurt by my statement but it was an interview about my choice and I openly stated. My intent was to never disrespect anyone. I respect and adore Chiru sir and he did work with my mother, too."
