Director Anand Ranga is producing a movie titled 'Poga' a horror thriller which is directed by Shankar Marthand. Apparently the movie's first half deals with death of an actress, loosely based on the true life of old actress Pratyusha's suicide. And as the story goes the dead actress turns into a ghost to take revenge and gets the culprit punished.

Pratyusha was an upcoming actress in 2000 and became a successful Telugu heroine after the movie 'Kalusukovalani' with Uday Kiran became a hit. Her success was cut short when she committed suicide along with her lover on 23rd February 2002 by consuming poison. Unfortunately she died and he survived and faced Court sentence of five years imprisonment for abetting suicide and trying to commit suicide.

Incidentally her co star Uday Kiran also committed suicide 12 years later in January 2014 and till date there is no conclusive reason why he did that. His last film Chitram Cheppina Katha is yet to be released.
