Gopichand's upcoming action drama has been officially titled Singa. The film marks the directorial debut of popular stunt choreographer Vvenkat and is being produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under the 70mm Entertainments banner. 

The makers released a title teaser to reveal Gopichand's first look on the occasion of his birthday.  The teaser is set in a dense forest with a tribal background score composed by Sam CS. It opens with the glowing eyes of a panther in the dark, which slowly transition to reveal Gopichand. 

He appears in an intense, rugged avatar, holding a battle axe and sporting a thick beard, a moustache, and an ear ornament, with his face covered in blood and sweat. Malayalam actress Anarkali Nazar is making her Telugu cinema debut as the female lead in this movie. Given Vvenkat's background as a fight master, Singa is expected to be an action-heavy film driven by raw emotions.
