"F3" is a sequel to the Venkatesh and Varun Tej-starrer "F2." Thamanna and Mehreen feature as the heroines in the film, which is directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju. Raghu Babu, Pragati, Sunil, Rajendra Prasad, and others performed key roles in the film, and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.

The film, which had a completely new plot, was released in theatres on May 27 amid much expectation. However, the first day began with a divide talk. Reviews proved useful and positive word of mouth from families helped. However, the film bookings were raised this weekend because it was highly appreciated by the family audience.

According to trade sources, the film received a share of around Rs. 20 crore and grossed around 63.5 crores worldwide. However, because it is a sequel to the hit F2, trade analysts forecast higher numbers. However, the film fell short of those expectations.

In Andhra Pradesh, the film performed better than in Telangana. The film did well in other countries as well. It earned approximately $1 million (Rs. 7.7 crore gross) in the United States. The 'F3' passed its first weekend test. If this trend continues throughout the week, new records will be set.
