Updated : Jan 23, 2026

Macho Star Gopichand is currently working on his upcoming project, tentatively titled #Gopichand33. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, the film is a historical action epic that has generated considerable interest following its initial promotional campaign. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner and presented by Pavan Kumar, the movie explores a significant but lesser-known chapter of 7th-century Indian history.

The production team has officially started filming the movie’s climax today. This final action sequence is being executed on a large, custom-built set in Hyderabad. The current schedule is expected to last for 25 days, with most of the filming taking place during night shifts. Action choreographer Venkat Master is directing these sequences, which aim to provide a technical scale new to the industry.

Gopichand appears in the film as a rugged warrior, a role that required a notable physical transformation including long hair and a dense beard. This look was first showcased in a glimpse released on the actor's birthday, which emphasized the film's period setting and gritty tone.

With technical contributions from cinematographer Soundar Rajan and music composer Anudeep Dev, the project is focusing on high production values to match its historical backdrop. This 25-day climax shoot marks one of the final major steps in the film’s production before it moves into post-production.
