Victory Venkatesh starrer Drushyam is riding high on success and the collections of day 1 has reached up to 1.55 Crore and this share is only from AP. The plot of Drushyam and limited number of theaters has increased the demand of the film across the two states. Overseas business is also faring quite well according to trade sources. Drushyam is a family thriller and is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster movie Drishyam.
Venkatesh has donned the role of Mohanlal and Meena reprises the same character she played in the Malayalam version. Nadhiya has sported a police officer's role and Naresh is Nadhiya's husband in Drushyam. The role of Venkatesh's daughters have been played by Esther and Krithika. Positive response is flowing in from all areas about this unique flick. Drushyam is a joint production venture of D Suresh Babu and Rajkumar Sethupathy !!!
