Drishyam films have become a huge blockbuster in every language. The original film starring Mohanlal has become a cult classic thriller. It became a blockbuster in Hindi and Telugu. Ajay Devgn has delivered his career biggest blockbuster with Drishyam 2 but Venkatesh preferred an OTT release like Malayalam original. 


The third installment shoot is going to start in September and Ajay Devgn started it already. Venkatesh has announced his next with Trivikram Srinivas and they are set to start shoot from October. Jeetu Joseph, the director of original films, stated that Drishyam 3 will be different from other two films. 


He stated that he started his career with "My Boss" and "Mummy and Me", kind of entertainers and he is now looking to go back to such films. He stated that he is bored of doing thrillers and he wishes to go back to such entertainers. Hence, he planned Drishyam 3 slightly differently from previous films. 


He did not confirm the 4th installment but he stated that he would like direct Mohanlal in many more films. Drishyam became Industry Hit in Malayalam and now, the third installment is expected to become another big hit. Jeethu Joseph did not confirm that he wrote more than other films to get all logics perfect.
