The latest movie 'Shekhar' starring Dr. Rajasekhar as the hero. The pre-release event of the film, directed by Jeevita Rajasekhar, was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The event's major guests were director Sukumar and Prashant Varma.

On this occasion, director Sukumar said, "Rajasekhar is the reason I entered the industry as a director. He's a big fan of mine. Sir, your films such as Ahuti, Ankusham, Magadu, Akka Mogudu, Agraham, and Thalambralu had a lasting impression on me. I used to imitate him in school. Everyone complimented my performance and asked me once more. That's how I got famous in school. Rajasekhar sir then convinced me that I could go to the movies and do anything."

Most industry parents wants thier kids to distance from the industry. However, Rajasekhar launched his two daughters as heroines. Sukumar saluted to Dr Rajasekhar for his daring decision.

Directed by Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Shekar also features Muskaan Khubchandani, Aathmeeya Raja, Kishore, Sameer and Abhinav Gomatam in prominent roles.

Presented by Vankayalapati Murali Krishna, the film is being produced by Pegasus Cinecorp, Sudhakar Impex IPL, Taurus Cinecorp, and Tripura Creations.
