In a media interaction held today morning, ace producer Dil Raju officially announced that the Telugu dubbed version of Varisu has been postponed to January 14, 2023 for its worldwide release. The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipally, starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.

Speaking on this occasion, Dil Raju disclosed that he is postponing Varasudu film only to give first priority to Telugu films like Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. He confirmed that the two big films will get more screens in Telugu states compared to Vaarasudu.

He said "Vaarasudu Telugu version copy is ready. The statements of a content delay are false. Today the movie will be censored. Although I can release the movie on the scheduled date, I changed the release date for our Tollywood."

He added "Thalapathy Vijay will be coming to Hyderabad for the promotions. If the film is released on January 11th it would've been difficult. Now the film is coming on January 14th, so I will bring Vijay for Telugu promotions."

It remains to be seen how the film fares at box office. The film will definitely get affected by the talk of Tamil version
