Kollywood hero Dhanush has achieved tremendous success with his latest bilingual film SIR/Vaathi. The film, directed by Venky Atluri, has now surpassed the 100 crore mark, becoming Dhanush's second 100 crore grossing film in a year.

Dhanush has appeared in a number of films. In 2014, the actor already had a 100 crore grosser in Hindi. Raanjhanaa was the actor's first 100 crore film in Bollywood. However, many of his subsequent films failed to reach the 100 crore mark. Last year, Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam/Thiru became an unexpected huge success, grossing in the range of 118 crores.

And now comes the Dhanush-starrer SIR is another film that has surpassed the 100 crore mark at the box office. Dhanush created a sensation by receiving the gross mark of 100 crores at the box office three times and crossing this mark with two films in a year's time. SIR is doing well at the box office, and it must be said that there is still hope for it to do well in the long run.
