Queen Anushka Shetty has been busy shooting for Krish Jagarlamudi's Ghaati earlier this year but she had decided to not be phsyically present for promotions of the film. She did a phone-call interview with media personnel from Bengaluru and stated that she chose to stay away from media for personal reasons.

During the conversation, Anushka revealed that she was deeply moved by the story of Ghaati from the very first narration. This emotional connection was a major factor in her decision to join the project immediately. She also spoke highly of her collaboration with director Krish, stating that he gave her two memorable roles.

Later, she revealed that she is gearing to appear in many more films but things have to fall-in-place, as she is not ready to take up all projects. She stated that she is open to work with Prabhas, but he has to like the script and it should be on par with Baahubali kind of a subject.

She also stated that she is more inclined to explore new characters away from Arundhati, Baahubali kind of roles. She explained that for a film like Ghaati, she did trek through various ghats while carrying heavy loads to perform the film’s stunts. She stated that she is ready to put in heavy efforts if film is worthy.

The film, produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments on a massive scale, is set to release on September 5th in multiple languages. Anushka revealed that she is doing a folklore in Malayalam, which would mark her debut in the language. She completed shoot for the film and more details will be known later.
