Updated : Aug 25, 2025

Anupama Parameswaran starred recently in a woman-centric film, Paradha. The actress addressed media at the movie success meet and commented that people are ready to forgive flaws in commercial films but they are not pulling a woman-centric film down by nitpicking. She stated that every film does have flaws but no one is noticing their effort.

She commented that Paradha is an honest attempt from director Praveen Kandregula, her and the entire team. So, she stated that people not giving them a chance or appreciating their effort to bring a different and fresh concept is effecting them and their film.

Well, these comments have attracted major backlash against her. Fans of stars and movie-lovers have been countering her argument stating that rather than giving controversial statements, she should choose better scripts. They are commenting that the film did not give them any experience to appreciate.

Some are commenting that rather than concentrating on blaming audiences or critics, they should make better films. Paradha had a forgettable weekend at the box office and it did not even receive positive critical reception. Hence, the makers seem to be making certain comments to exhibit their frustration comment onlookers.
