Its official Amala Paul and film maker AL Vijay got engaged in a private ceremony at St Jude’s Church, Choondi, in Kochi on June 7. What followed was a grand, star-studded sangeet ceremony at the CIAL Convention Centre, Nedumbassery. Amala wore a white gown created by designer Anita Dongre. A diamond neckpiece completed the look. The sangeet was based on a  Rajasthan theme and to match the theme Amala was dressed in a traditional pink and lehenga  and uncut diamond accessories.The marriage will be solemnized on June 12 the meanwhile the actress is all smiles and looks ravishing as the soon –to-be- bride.
