Akhanda 2 starring God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Srinu, is the biggest release for Indian and Telugu Cinema along with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar. The movie has been promoting the greatness of Indian Sanatana Dharma and the makers wanted price hikes. 


Andhra Pradesh Government has granted Rs.600/- for premiere ticket rates and Rs.100/- and Rs.75/- hikes for multiplexes and single screen rates, respectively. After a long delay, Telangana Government has granted hikes at similar level. Premiere ticket rates are fixed at Rs.600/- and Rs.100/-, Rs.50/- for multiplexes, single screens, respectively. 


In few hours, bookings will open in Telangana state wide, mainly, in Hyderabad as most number of film fans have been waiting, since long. Currently, makers are promoting the film on cylinders blasting it into the orbit of cinema viewers to guarantee a huge opening. 


As the movie is releasing, exactly, on the anniversary of Pushpa 2: The Rise release, the makers are hoping to repeat its success at Pan-India level. Samyuktha Menon, Aadi Pinisetty, Harshali Malhotra are playing other prominent roles in this action packed film. 14 Reels Plus is producing it.
