777 Charlie is the latest film by Kannada young hero Rakshit Shetty. On June 10, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi versions were released worldwide. The film, directed by K. Kiran Raj, was a box office hit, grossing massive amounts of money.

In this film, the bond between a man and a dog named Charlie is heartwarming. It is well known that Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraju Bommai, who saw the film, burst into tears, and not only him, but the entire audience, wept in the theatres. The film earned a whopping sum at the box office, surprising everyone.

According to trade estimates, the film collected 75 crores in Karnataka over the course of thirty days. The Telugu version earned 4 crores, while the Tamil version earned 4 crores as well. The Malayalam version grossed 5 crores. Overseas, the film earned 5.5 crores. If all other factors are included, it earned a stunning 100 crores, making it the second Kannada film after KGF to do so.

Meanwhile, an interesting story about the digital rights to this film is becoming viral. Amazon Prime, the popular OTT giant, has acquired the streaming rights to this film. This film's digital release date has yet to be announced, however it will be available to audiences from July 29.
