While the makers claimed that the film has collected nearly 10 crore's "share" on First Day, it's now heard that the film in its final run may not collect more than another 10 crores share on a whole.

Released on Diwali eve, Akkineni Akhil's debut film "Akhil" is the one making huge noise now. Distributors have invested nearly 48+ crores on the theatrical rights and they are said to be expecting more than 50% losses from the film. That makes this debut of Akhil a biggest flop in Telugu industry history from a debutant.

Directed by VV Vinayak, Akhil features Akhil, Sayesha Saigal, Brahmi, Rajendra Prasad and Mahesh Manjrekar in the leads.
