Me : Hello Sir. Advance birthday wishes to you.
Boyapati : Thank you sir

Me : So, how are you planning to celebrate your birthday this year ?
Boyapati : Nothing special sir, right now im very busy with the script for my next film with Nandamuri Balakrishna garu. Pre production work is going on and we will announce everything in details very soon.

Me : Out of many names, it was heard that Balakrishna has opted you as the director. Is there any special reason ?
Boyapati : Nothing like that, Balayya has already committed to do a movie with me after Simha and I’m able to convince him with the script.

Me : This will be an important film for Balakrishna as the movie is supposed to be released before 2014 elections. So what kind of pressure is mounted upon you ?
Boyapati : Definitely its an important film, not only for Balayya but also for me. I love cinema and its only because of this industry I have earned name and money. So, every movie is an important movie for me. Moreover, after the success of 'Simha', audience and Balakrishna fans will be having a lot of expectations on our combination. So I will try my best to reach everyone's expectations.

Me : Will there be any political touch in the movie ?
Boyapati : (Smiles)Well, people are trying to politicize everything these days. I'm taking certain care not to get into those things and this film will be purely based on the human emotions. I know that the fans are expecting some elements in the movie, I will make sure that this film has the right mixture of all commercial elements.

Me : Have you confirmed the tittle as 'Ruler' ?
Boyapati : At the time of 'Dhammu',  'Ruler' tittle has been registered by CC Media. You can mark it as a working tittle.

Me : After B Gopal, you have been termed as a mass director. Are you planning to change the genre or continue with the same ?
Boyapati : B. Gopal garu is a superb director. He has delivered some blockbusters with the leading heroes, definitely you can compare me with such a person. Coming to my films, I believe in lot of family drama and human emotions. Right from my first movies 'Bhadra', I have given lot of space for these things.

Me : Were there any plans to do films with Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Prabhas ?
Boyapati : Discussion happened but nothing was finalized with Mahesh Babu. After completing the film with Balayya, there will be a film with Ram Charan.

Me : There is a rumor that directors are spending a lot of money on action sequences to make it look stylish and this is leading for over budget. What do you say ?
Boyapati : I cannot comment on others. As far as my making is concerned, I try to wrap up a scene or an action sequence in a limited footage. I believe that audience either get convinced or get confused with the cinema. So there is nothing like stylish making and normal making. We can wither convince the audience or confuse the audience.

Me : There is a lot of importance for 'Brother-in-law' character in your movies. Any specific reason ?
Boyapati : I feel that's one of the sweetest and beautiful relation. Once you get married to a girl, her brother starts bonding with you and this tradition is very familiar with our Telugu people. I come from a joint family and I take care of all my nephews and cousins.

Me : Can we expect Nayanathara as the female lead in this film ?
Boyapati : Lot of people are asking about this. No doubt, Nayanathara is a brilliant actress and her role in 'Simha' has been appreciated by each and every one. We are yet to finalize the heroine.

Me : What kind of a responsibility does a filmmaker need ?
Boyapati: Very good question. I feel that every film maker should should have a social responsibility. There is nothing wrong if you can't convey the good but one should convey a wrong message to the society through a film. Recently I watched a film and I was shocked to see that ladies hostel has been portrayed in a very bad way. What kind of impression will that film leave on the audience ?

Me : Tell us about the cast and crew for this film
Boyapati : Cast and crew is not yet decided but im planning to go ahead with the same technical department and most likely the crew will be the same. I've been receiving loads of suggestions regarding the look of Balayya and the music director. All I can say is, im not a person who compromise on quality or look. I will satisfy with nothing less than the best output.

Me : How do you feel when you look back at your career ?
Boyapati : (Smiles) Im just 4 films old in this industry and there is still a long way to go. Im happy with the kind of film which I have made and my producers are happy. I have the utmost respect for our Telugu cinema industry. Im a hard worker and will continue this and will try to deliver some good films to the audience.

Teluguone.com wishes as very happy birthday to Boyapati Seenu and we wish him a very best for his upcoming movies.
