Ram Charan starrer Merupu movie was launched last year, but the movie could not go into the floors with regular shooting till date. May be lack of solid script and budget are strong reasons for the delay in Merupu.
Megastar Chiranjeevi long time back told Dharani to come up with concrete script, but Dharani failed to do so. Another reason is that Dharani has come up with a huge budget for Merupu movie and Chiranjeevi was stunned when he saw the budget.
After Orange failure, Chiranjeevi is very particular about the budget and script for Ram Charan’s movies. Even Producer Council, which recently met said that they are planning to instruct their directors on the movie budget.
Now what will director Dharani do? Will he slash the budget, or will he come up with different version of script (that suits budget) or he altogether puts off Merupu movie?
