Updated : Sep 26, 2025

IRS Official Sameer Wankhede has arrested Shah Rukh Khan's elder son Aryan Khan in a Drugs scandal on a cruise party. Aryan stayed in jail for 40 days and he debuted as director with Netflix web series Bads of Bollywood, recently. In the first episode, a look-a-like actor has been cast as a person who arrests an actor.

The arrest happens to be fake and the actor is shown to be an officer with ill-intentions towards Bollywood actors even though they just stand in the vicinity of someone else taking drugs. Aryan Khan seem to have made a sarcastic remark against Sameer and trolls started on social media about it.

So, Sameer Wankhede filed a defamation suit against Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix. He claimed for Rs.2 Crores as compensation and stated that the amount should be donated to Tata Memorial Hospital. Delhi High Court has rejected his plea.

Court has given permission to change the plea and re-submit. Court has asked Sameer and his lawyer for the proofs that the trolls have been heavy in Delhi and if he fails to do so, then they cannot go forward with the plea. Currently, Sameer and his lawyers have stated that they will submit proofs soon.
