Updated : Sep 22, 2025

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the biggest stars of Indian Cinema in current generation. The actor appeared in a small cameo in Aryan Khan's Bads of Bollywood series. Now, he is facing legal trouble due to his cameo. National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has asked Mumbai Police to file case against the actor.

In his scene, Ranbir is seen smoking e-cigarette or vape for few seconds. Without proper statutory warning, the scene has been played in the series. So, the actor has been seen as a violator of rule by NHRC. They have asked Mumbai Police to register case against producer, director and also OTT platform, Netflix.

NHRC have commented that such irresponsible behavior on part of celebrities should be questioned. They have stated that in 2019 e-cigarettes and vaping has been banned. Showcasing such a device on screen is offence and makers should answer as such scenes could spoil impressionable youth.

Well, Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan debuted as director with Ba****ds of Bollywood series. The series released for weekend and it became a sensation with mixed reactions to climax but raving reviews for performances of Raghav Juyal, Lakshya, Manoj Phawa and Bobby Deol.
