Param Sundari starring Siddharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor has released on 29th August with no buzz. While the movie songs did become a hit, the movie did not really ignite fan frenzy to watch the film in theatres. The movie failed big time in taking an opening and those who saw the film are dissing its streotypes. 

Critics are bashing the film for being a streotypical Bollywood film trying hard to portray a culture and tradition they don't understand. It is stated to be a beautiful postcard of Kerala but that is not satisfactory as the content is absent. 

Also, critics bashed Janhvi Kapoor's performance and her accent. The comedy is said to be crass and highly cringy. Even the romance between the attractive leads is said to be too forced and inorganic. While they both tried hard to showcase their talents, they don't have any sort of feasible chemistry, say few critics. 

Well, the opening occupancy of the film seems to be below 30% all over and that indicates it to be heading for yet another disaster in Janhvi's career. Now, her eyes would be on Ram Charan's Peddi to give her much desired hit at the box office.
