Updated : Jul 3, 2026

After months of speculation surrounding his personal life, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he is getting married once again. The actor revealed that he will be tying the knot with longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5, ending all rumours with the confirmation coming directly from him during a media interaction in Mumbai.

Unlike the lavish celebrity weddings that Bollywood has witnessed in recent years, Aamir has decided to keep things simple. The wedding will take place at his Mumbai residence with only close family members and friends in attendance. "We're getting married at home and would like everyone's blessings," the actor said, making it clear that the ceremony will be a private affair rather than a star-studded event.

The confirmation comes just months after Aamir introduced Gauri Spratt to the media, revealing that the two have known each other for several years before their relationship turned serious. Ever since then, reports about their wedding have frequently surfaced, but the actor had remained tight-lipped until now.

Interestingly, there will reportedly be no grand reception after the wedding either. Sources close to the actor say the couple wants to celebrate the occasion only with their inner circle, staying away from unnecessary media attention and maintaining the privacy they have preferred throughout their relationship.
