Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, is reportedly gearing up to make his acting debut, with filmmaker Atlee said to be backing the project. Director Keerthiswaran, who gained recognition with Dude, is reportedly being considered to helm the film.

Jason initially chose to pursue filmmaking and made his directorial debut with Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan. However, the latest reports suggest that he is now preparing to explore acting, marking a significant shift in his career plans.

Interestingly, Keerthiswaran is reportedly committed to a film with Silambarasan TR. Reports suggest that he informed STR about the opportunity to direct Jason Sanjay, with the actor said to have given his approval for the filmmaker to take up the project.

Atlee’s reported association has added further interest to the development, given his standing in Tamil cinema. Also, Atlee made three big blockbusters with Vijay which are credited for changing his stance as a star and ultimately push him to become a political success. So, Atlee might be looking to do same for Jason Sanjay.
