Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly being considered for an important role in Aishwarya Rajinikanth's upcoming directorial venture, Texla, starring Jai in the lead. If the development materialises, it could mark another collaboration between Bachchan and the Rajinikanth family after their recent association in Vettaiyan.

According to reports, Aishwarya has approached Amitabh Bachchan and narrated the story along with the character envisioned for him. The filmmaker is said to have reached out to the veteran actor through her father, Superstar Rajinikanth. Bachchan has reportedly shown interest in the project, but has requested that his portions be filmed entirely in Mumbai, considering his shooting schedule and convenience. The makers are said to be seeking approximately 15 days of his dates.

Amitabh Bachchan made his Tamil cinema debut with TJ Gnanavel's Vettaiyan, sharing screen space with Rajinikanth. If he comes on board Texla, it will bring him together with another member of the superstar's family, this time under Aishwarya's direction.

Jai is reportedly playing the lead role in Texla, which is being developed under the Kannan Ravi Group banner. While further details about the film's cast, storyline and production schedule are awaited, Amitabh Bachchan's possible inclusion has already made the project an interesting development.
