Nandamuri Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni’s upcoming action entertainer, tentatively titled NBK111, appears to be heading towards a Christmas release. The film was initially being planned for a Dussehra release, but the latest industry buzz suggests that the makers are now considering December 24 as the new target.

The change in plans is reportedly linked to the shooting schedule. Balakrishna recently sustained an injury while filming a high-intensity action sequence and underwent surgery. With the actor currently recuperating, the team has had to rework its shooting plans. The additional time could also help the makers complete the film’s elaborate action blocks and post-production without rushing the project.

The film has already generated considerable interest following its birthday glimpse, which showcased Balakrishna in a younger and stylish avatar. Manchu Manoj and Kajal Aggarwal are playing prominent roles, while S Thaman’s background score has added further impact to the glimpse.
