Natural Star Nani's much-awaited pan-India action drama The Paradise is once again in the news. According to the latest industry buzz, the film is likely to arrive in theatres on September 25, instead of its previously announced August 21 release date. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the change.
Reports suggest that the film has completed over 120 working days of shoot, while close to 60 days of filming are still left. The ongoing schedule is expected to continue over the next two months, with the team aiming to wrap up the remaining talkie portions and songs before moving into post-production.
Directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, The Paradise stars Nani in the lead role. The film also features Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and Eeshwari Rao in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while G. K. Vishnu handles cinematography and Naveen Nooli is the editor.
The makers had recently dismissed rumours about the film undergoing reshoots, clarifying that no such work had taken place and that production was progressing as planned. With a major portion of the shoot still pending and extensive post-production work ahead, trade circles believe shifting the release to September will give the team enough time to complete the film without compromise.
Set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise is said to present Nani in one of the most intense roles of his career, portraying a fierce leader fighting for the rights of an underprivileged community. The film has generated tremendous anticipation ever since the release of its Raw Statement glimpse and the chartbuster success of first single, Aaya Sher.
