Ajith Kumar, one of the biggest stars of Tamil Cinema, has delivered a blockbuster with Good Bad Ugly last year. But he had been busy with his racing ambition over the past year and he did not announce his next film, officially. It had been confirmed that GBU director Adhik Ravichandran will direct the film but no announcement yet.

It had become a huge topic of discussion among his fans, Industry insiders that the actor has been quoting huge salary and hence, it has become unaffordable for producers to plan the movie with him. Apparently, he had been demanding good share in profits if he had to reduce from his quoted amount, as well. 

Hence, producers have been not willing to invest so much on the project. Looking at Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth gearing up to come together and adjust their remuneration for the film, many Tamil industry insiders are unable to figure out why Ajith is not listening to reality. 

On the other hand, it is reported by few sources that the movie shoot will start in March and the producer is ready to invest the budget. Ajith has apparently given assurance to complete the project on-time as per promise. But few insiders state that looking at his ambition to continue racing, producers are hesitant, too. 

Well, Mankatha release for Republic Day weekend has shown how his fans and Tamil people are ready to celebrate his film in theatres. Somehow, the budget and remuneration have been problematic to go forward, suggest reports. We have to wait and see, what Ajith Kumar team will announce in coming days.
