3 Idiots is one of the biggest cult classics of Indian Cinema. Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan have joined hands to deliver an epic that showcased how the education system is not encouraging analytical and critical thinking in India. Now, they both are back with an interesting idea for sequel 3 Idiots 2.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra will also be back to produce the film state reports after a fall-out with Rajkumar. Now, the reports suggest that the film is going to take off 15 years after the events of the original film with each one becoming parents. Kareena Kapoor will be back as leading lady opposite Aamir.

Also, it is stated that as Aamir and Hirani dropped the idea to make Dadasaheb Phalke biopic, the writer-director has worked on this sequel idea and completed scripting.
