Tara Sutaria has joined Aditya Roy Kapur as the female lead in Bhushan Kumar’s upcoming musical love story, bringing together a new on-screen pair for a film that promises romance, passion and violence. Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, the yet-to-be-titled project is scheduled to begin shooting later this year and arrive in theatres in 2027.

The casting brings Tara back together with the Marjaavaan team, reuniting her with both Bhushan Kumar and Milap Milan Zaveri. Along with Ek Villain Returns, the new film marks her third collaboration with T-Series. Aditya, meanwhile, reunites with Bhushan Kumar, with whom he has delivered musical romance Aashiqui 2 and Malang, besides Metro... In Dino.

Milap is returning to an intense romantic drama that places turbulent relationships at the centre of its narrative. The makers describe the film as a raw and emotionally charged love story set against a backdrop of high-stakes conflict, with music playing a crucial role in the storytelling. Details about the plot and the characters remain under wraps.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar under T-Series, with Shiv Chanana as co-producer, the film is being mounted on a grand scale for a theatrical release. The pairing of Aditya and Tara marks their first collaboration on screen, while the combination of musical romance and action forms the foundation of the project. Further casting details and the film’s title are yet to be announced.
