Oct 5, 2026 4:51PM

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion has opened to a blockbuster response at the box office. The thriller has collected around Rs. 172 crore nett in India in its first weekend, registering the biggest opening weekend of Ajay Devgn’s career. The film also stands as the third-highest opening weekend for a Hindi film, behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Jawan.

The film opened with around Rs. 61 crore on Friday and followed it up with Rs. 52 crore on Saturday. The collections witnessed a strong jump on Sunday, with the film adding around Rs. 59 crore to take the three-day total to Rs. 172 crore. The strong hold across the weekend, particularly in Maharashtra and the major metro centres, has given the film an excellent start.

The Drishyam franchise has also delivered a career-best result for Ajay Devgn overseas. The film collected around USD 6.10 million (Rs. 58 crore) in international markets during the opening weekend, comfortably surpassing the USD 4.50 million haul of Singham Again. Australia and Canada emerged as standout markets, while the United States, UK and UAE also recorded strong numbers.

With around Rs. 208 crore gross from India and Rs. 58 crore from overseas, Drishyam: The Conclusion has amassed approximately Rs. 266 crore worldwide in three days. The film is also benefiting from strong audience response and capacity constraints in several overseas markets. With no major release until Ramayana, the Ajay Devgn starrer is now set for a strong run through the weekdays.
