Sanatana Dharma Warriors demand apology from Ranveer Singh

on Dec 2, 2025

Sanatana Dharma Warriors have been hurt deeply by Ranveer Singh's antics at IFFI, Goa. Talking to Rishab Shetty, he tried to mimick his performance in the climax of Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1. He called Chamundi Daiva from Tulu Nadu, a ghost and tried to mimick further.

Rishab Shetty tried to stop him but Ranveer Singh laughed it off as a joke. But his antics have hurt Sanatana Dharma Warriors and #ShameOnYouRanveerSingh is trending on X, as trolls and abuses against the actor have been growing. They are stating that they would ban Dhurandhar and won't watch his movies at all.

Aditya Dhar has directed and produced the film and it is going to be longest film in recent times. But such a controversy will definitely kill the enthusiasm for the film and there would be a negative publicity for sure. But that would hurt the film more than it would help.

A case has been filed against the actor in Karnataka stating that he mocked the idols and he did not understand the sacredness of the religion and idol worship at all. To stop all this, will Ranveer Singh apologise or not? We have to wait and see.
