Prithviraj's Kaduva getting Bad Reception in Telugu
Updated : Jul 10, 2022
It is said that making a big film is just as vital as marketing it successfully. Furthermore, what is planned should be able to be released on time. This is less of an issue for Telugu films, but it is a concern for films done in other languages with the 'same name.' The latest film, 'Kaduva,' is suffering a similar issue. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the lead in this film. He stated that the Telugu version of this film, which was released on the 8th of this month, would also be available on the first day.
However, the film was not released in Hyderabad on the 8th. Tickets are only available in Malayalam. The Telugu version did not arrive due to technical issues; nevertheless, they stated that it will be available on July 9th. On Saturday, however, only two theatres are offering tickets on Book My Show in Hyderabad. This issue is said to have arisen as a result of Prithviraj Sukumaran's lack of proper release planning.
If more attention had been devoted to promotion, the film would have gotten theatres and openings. Aside from that, the title of the film is said to be a reason. It is also said that it would have been preferable if the name had been presented in Telugu rather than 'Kaduva.' The word 'Kaduva' means tiger in Malayalam. To convey that meaning, it would have been preferable if it had been given a different name in Telugu.
According to Malayalam reviewers, this is a regular mass entertainer, and the film is extraneous. People are reportedly unwilling to watch the film in Telugu. While releasing the film in other areas, it should be ensured that it is released in all locations at the same time. Otherwise, the situation will remain unchanged. The general public should be aware of the 'Kaduva' situation and use caution when releasing films.
