Mohanlal starrer L2: Empuraan film is going through financial troubles state Tamil media reports. According to them, the movie satellite, OTT and music rights are finding it difficulty to find takers as producer quoting huge prices. While the movie shoot is completed, due to financial troubles post production works are delayed.

The reports suggest that due to these issues at Lyca Productions, the production house, L2 could get delayed. While the buzz for this high budget sequel to smashing blockbuster of Malayalam cinema, Lucifer, is high, still issues compounded due to previous productions of Lyca like Vidaamuyarchi, Vettaiyan losses. 

At this moment, director Prithviraj and leading actor Mohanlal have been pursuing the producers to clear the movie post production and release it as soon as possible. They believe that delaying release would dilute the hype for the film. Both of them have asked the producers clear the movie for final copy to be locked. 

The makers will announce the release date once they are clear about the final copy. Reports state that the discussions are going on and they will be coming to a conclusion in two more weeks. Let's hope the movie will release in time and not get too delayed like Vidaamuyarchi.
