After an electrifying hiatus of eight years, the charismatic and beloved Telugu cinema star, Rocking Star Manoj Manchu is making a monumental return to the silver screen, redefining the Super Hero’s universe with his latest avatar as 'The Black Sword.'

In a grand reveal amidst his birthday, the makers have unveiled the first look glimpse of Manchu Manoj as The Black Sword and it looks spectacular. At the launch event, the actor reveals his happiness coming back after 8 years with Mirai.

He thanked Karthik Gattamneni for the opportunity and said, "I've learnt patience in these 8 years after listening multiple stories and few impressed me which couldn't materialize. I thought Mirai will be the perfect film for my comeback." He also leaked that the film will be coming in 2 parts. The story is so vast, makers decided to go with 2 parts strategy.

The film, set against the backdrop of the visually stunning and narrative-rich world of Mirai, promises to deliver a blend of traditional heroics and modern storytelling that will captivate audiences worldwide. It explores the secrets of Ashoka’s 9 unknown books, weaving history and mythology into an epic tale.

Previously, Super Hero Teja Sajja’s glimpse was released and received a tremendous response, and now it’s Rocking Star Manoj Manchu’s turn on his birthday. He is not just back; he's here to make a statement that will echo through the corridors of the Telugu film industry and beyond.

Ritika Nayak is the lead actress opposite Teja Sajja. Karthik Ghattamaneni penned the screenplay, alongside Manibabu Karanam who also wrote dialogues. Gowra Hari is the music director. Sri Nagendra Tangala is the art director of the movie, whereas Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer. Krithi Prasad is the Creative Producer, whereas Sujith Kumar Kolli is the Executive Producer.

Mirai will be released in multiple languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on April 18th in the summer in 2D and 3D versions.
