Koratala Siva huge fee for Devara

Despite facing a significant setback with his last film, "Acharya," which impacted his career and reputation due to various controversies, director Koratala Siva has secured a substantial remuneration for his upcoming big-budget project, "Devara." Starring NTR, the film is set for a grand release worldwide tomorrow and the team is currently engaged in aggressive promotional activities.

Reports indicate that Koratala has charged around 30 crores for directing "Devara." This high fee comes despite the recent failure of "Acharya," which has been labeled the weakest film of Chiranjeevi's career. Koratala’s confidence in making a strong comeback appears to justify his demand for a hefty salary.

This project marks the second collaboration between NTR and Koratala, following their successful film "Janata Garage." The script development and production preparations for "Devara" took nearly two years, leading the producers to accept the director’s substantial fee without hesitation.

Koratala Siva aims to establish himself alongside renowned directors like Rajamouli, Sukumar, and Nag Ashwin, who have delivered pan-India blockbusters in recent years. Known for his compelling scripts and impactful dialogues, Koratala has previously delivered hits such as "Mirchi," "Srimanthudu," and "Bharat Ane Nenu." Should "Devara" achieve significant success, it could elevate his status among top directors and increase his fees for future projects.
