Nagarjuna Akkineni has a huge fan base in Telugu and he is popular in other languages as well, especially, Hindi. His Mass and Don No.1 films have been most telecasted films in Hindi Satellite channels. With them becoming huge blockbusters on Hindi Satellite channels, Nagarjuna has become popular among recent generations too. 

Due to his popularity, he has been approached by many Hindi filmmakers for interesting roles in their films even today. He did act in direct Hindi films like Khuda Gawah, Angaarey, Zakhm, Agnivarsha, LOC with all big stars. But he stopped being part of Hindi films due to the characters he is being offered. 

Recently, he accepted a crucial cameo in Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra Part-One. Currently, he is busy with Rajinikanth's Coolie and Kubera, where he is sharing screen with Dhanush. As he has decided to explore strong roles in other heroes films, too, he has a new offer from director Rajkumar Hirani, it seems.

The Bollywood legendary director has delievered memorable films like Munnabhai MBBS, Lageraho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots, PK, Sanju but his recent Dunki, did not live up to expectations. Now, he is working on a different script and he wants to deliver his best, it seems. Meanwhile, he started discussions with Nagarjuna, say reports. 

Initial discussions have been highly positive and Nagarjuna has liked the character, suggest reports. While the actor is busy with his two biggies, he is also planning a single lead project in Telugu for next Sankranti, say reports. Also, there is a chance for him to appear in SSMB29, in the direction of SS Rajamouli with Mahesh Babu, if the rumors to be belived.
