Manchu Vishnu has claimed that he produced Kannappa on a large canvas with a budget amounting to Rs.150 crores. He expressed great confidence on the movie and he did not accept low business offers pre-release and wanted to wait till post release to get better offers. 

Taking such financial risks might only effect him and also showcase his confidence, he did attract another risk with IT and GST officials raids on his office. The officials are conducting raids at his office to check the details about how he arranged for the money and if he paid GST as per his claims. 

Currently, they are checking all the income sources and also the amounts spent over the past few years to complete the film. Well, Vishnu is counting highly on Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar stardom to help him in taking the movie to audiences. Mohan Babu is playing a crucial role in the movie, too.
