Mohanlal has delivered a resounding blockbuster with Lucifer. Prithviraj Sukumaran, as director, delivered his biggest box office success with the film. Now, they are back with the promised sequel, L2: Empuraan. The movie is scheduled for release on 27th March and Dil Raju has joined the team as Telugu distributor. 

His Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) , will distribute the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The team guarantees a huge release all over Telugu states. The makers have revealed that the filming of L2E: Empuraan began in a grand way on October 5, 2023, in Faridabad. The shoot continued in various other places, including Shimla, Leh, the United Kingdom, the United States, Chennai, Gujarat, Hyderabad, the United Arab Emirates, Mumbai, and Kerala.

Along with Mohanlal, the film features an ensemble star cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil, Sachin Khedekar, Nyla Usha, Giju John, Nandhu, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Manikuttan, Aneesh G. Menon, Sshivada, Alexx O'Nell, Eriq Ebouaney, Mikhail Novikov, and Karthikeya Dev in pivotal roles. English actor Jerome Flynn of Game of Thrones fame also makes his Indian cinema debut by playing a crucial role in L2E: Empuraan. The makers promise a highly satisfying cinematic ride in theatres.
