The makers of the magnum opus film Ponniyin Selvan 2 are gearing up for the mega release of the period drama on April 28th. With less than a month for release, the team is busg with the promotions for the film. The first single and trailer impressed everyone. Today makers released the lyrical video second single Veera Raja Veera.

 

The song features Jayam Ravi as Arunmozhi Varman, who transforms into the great Raja Raja Chozha. It also provides insight into his relationship with Sobhita Dhulipala. The lyrical video features energising beats and Arunmozhi Varman and Vaanathi in a warm embrace.

 

In the magnum opus, Sobhita Dhulipala plays Vaanathi, the princess of Kodumbalur and Arunmozhi Varman's love interest. Shankar Mahadevan and Chinmayi sing the song magically, which was composed by AR Rahman. Chandrabose wrote the powerful lyrics. 

 

The Ponniyin Selvan sequel will conclude Mani Ratnam's retelling of celebrated writer Kalki Krishnamurthy's prolific novel of the same title. The film stars Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Trisha, among others. Oscar winner AR Rahman composed the music.
