Kollywood star actor Thalapathy Vijay latest outing Varisu/Vaarasudu is running successfully at box office. The film directed by Vamsi Paidipally released as a Sankranti festival gift. Produced by Dil Raju at a huge cost, Thaman composed the music and Rashmika Mandanna acted as the heroine.

 

Director Vamsi Paidipally spoke to the Telugu media about the success of Vaarasudu movie. He said that the success of this film has brought great joy to his entire unit.

 

Speaking about the hero Thalapathy Vijay in particular, Vamsi said that Vijay, who is one of the most biggest stars across India, has great commitment and care towards work.

 

He said that for each and every scene, song, dance, fights etc. he will rehearse one week before. No matter how much he grows up, hero Vijay is praised as a great human in real life.

 

Speaking about why he chose Vijay for this film, he said "Thalapathy Vijay is biggest star of the country. We wanted to showcase Vintage Thalapathy in the film. If you see, there are no fights in the first half, we were able to deliver Vintage Romantic Thalapathy to the audience for 1 hour and 20 minutes before having to bring out our massy Thalapathy in the second half. And our simple story had the potential to incorporate all of the emotions."

 

He added "Before the release of Varisu in theatres, Thalapathy Vijay sir expressed interest in working with me again."
