Samantha has already garnered pan-India attention for her outstanding performance in the Hindi web series 'The Family Man 2,' and with 'Yashoda,' a thriller, the actress is laying the groundwork for furthering her fan base. The film, directed by Hari - Harish, is set to be released on August 12th.

Aside from Samantha, the science fiction thriller also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj.

The film, touted as a new age thriller, was written and directed by the filmmaker duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan. Mani Sharma has composed the soundtrack for Samantha's upcoming film, which is being produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner Sridevi Movies.

The film's producers have confirmed that it would be released in five languages. In addition to the original Telugu version, the project will be dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
