YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, assured the Telugu film industry that his government would allow higher ticket prices for films that cost more than Rs 100 crore to produce, films that would take Telugu cinema to the next level.

SS Rajamouli and producer DVV Danayya met with the Chief Minister yesterday and explained to him why their film deserves the higher ticket price.

Following careful consideration, the government has agreed to allow the sale of tickets at a Rs 100 extra over the current ticket prices.
