Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra became a phenomenal box office hit for Malayalam Cinema and became new Industry Hit of Malayalam Cinema. The movie directed by Dominic Arun, collected Rs.285 crores worldwide and looking at its craze in Kerala, it could reach the monumental Rs.300 crores gross mark after Pooja Holidays.

Giving it further push, the makers have released Chapter 2 announcement teaser. Tovino Thomas is playing Chattan, Michael and he will be appearing in more than 300 other looks as well as army of Chattans, who are his brothers. Now, the announcement has increased buzz for the film Lokah Chapter 1.

Even in fourth weekend, the movie is attracting huge number of audiences to the theatres in Kerala, particularly. The kind of mass hysteria it is creating at the box office is unprecedented for any Malayalam Cinema, in recent years. Reports suggest that Dulquer Salmaan, the producer, has decided to start Chapter 2, soon.

As the story is set for all chapters, the makers are now working on scipt of second and third simultaneously, it seeems. As delays could increase the budget and also result in lowering the buzz, they have decided to conclude works as soon as possible, say reports.

Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, Chandu, Choreographer Sandy Master have been cast in the first chapter. The second one will have Tovino Thomas in main role while Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in a cameo. Even Kalyani and Naslen, might appear too. Major reports suggest Mammootty might appear as Moothoon, too.
