The release of KGF Chapter 2 is getting closer, but bookings have yet to begin in both Telugu states. Makers have been in talks with both governments over a fifth show allowance and a ticket price hike until yesterday.

The Telangana government issued a G.O. today confirming the ticket price increase and fifth show allowance for the film until the weekend. The G.O plainly notes that permission for a fifth show was also obtained for the first weekend. Bookings will be open in Telangana starting at 6 p.m. today. Producer trying for Andhra Pradesh hike also, will get clarity by evening.

The worst fear has become a reality. Most families were afraid to go to the theatres because of the expensive ticket fees for RRR, but the mass image of both heroes pulled everyone in. Now from KGF 2 it's almost impossible if the movie didn't get blockbuster talk on first day.

KGF Chapter 2 is one of the much-anticipated movies of 2022. The film is sequel to 2018 blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1, which turned Kannada star Yash into a Pan-India sensation and created a separate fan base for the movie.
