Dil Raju's film Varisu with Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay was a huge hit in Tamil. The film, which registered collections of more than 200 crore rupees, was released as a Vaarasudu in Telugu and was a major disappointment.

 

It is being reported that producer Dil Raju is extremely happy, despite the fact that Telugu state collections were low. Dil Raju expected Varasudu to earn at least 50 crore rupees in Telugu.

 

According to box office sources, Dil Raju did not even collect one-fourth of what was expected. Dil Raju, who had planned a large-scale Telugu release, was taken by surprise at the last minute.

 

It had to be released three days after its Tamil version. Despite Dilraju Victory in Tamil Nadu, which was released in competition with another Tamil star hero Ajith film Thunivu, he was defeated in the Telugu states.
